Greensboro, N.C. -- With forty pounds off and just 90 days until WFMY News 2 Anchor Tracey McCain gets married, it was time to clean out the closet and let the big clothes go.
So she took personal trainer Strawn Wilson's advice and packed up the size 8 to 16 clothes and got them out of the house.
"You don't need those anymore. You don't want to go back to that, so it's time do donate them," said Wilson Friday on the Good Morning Show.
With tags still on many of the clothes, now too big for Tracey, donating them was the best option. Immediately, Smith High School's Golden Closet came to mind.
"The girls will really use them, we all appreciate this so much," said Terri Sims-Warren, Guidance Counselor at Smith High School.
After the boxes were loaded up and taken to Smith High, it was all about boxing, Tracey's favorite workout.
"It works everything," said Wilson. "It's a good cardio workout, but instead of doing push ups all of the time or lifting weights, we'll get some boxing in and get you right," said Wilson, who owns Wilson's Training in High Point.
Easy to find off Highway 68, you can pay for personal sessions or take part in one of the $10 group boot camp classes. Visit www.wilsonstraining.com for more information.
