Greensboro, N.C. -- You can find thousands of books for as low as a dollar and some real gems worth hundreds all in one place May 8 - 10, 2014 at the St. Francis Book Sale.

Church volunteers collect the books throughout the year, price them for sale at this annual event and then donate the money to different community organizations.

"We have over 50,000 volumes for sale, from anything to old to rare, history, health and our kids section is amazing," said St. Francis book sale committee member Melissa Harrelson.

Every year, the book sale's proceeds benefit selected outreach groups. Last year, nine different Triad-area organizations benefited from the $45,000 raised.
