Greensboro, N.C. -- Scraped knees, bug bites and sun burns! Yep, its summertime! But before you send your kids off to summer camp, there are a few things you can do now to help them cope with the inevitable.
Monday on the Good Morning Show, Eleanor-Scott Davis from Piedmont Parent Magazine talked about how parents can prepare their children for camp.
Scott Davis said to make sure children know phone numbers, addresses, and allergies.
If it's a sleepover camp make sure you have "the talk" about inappropriate touching before sending them off.
And when it comes to being social, parents can help their children breakout of their shell but letting go. "Don't worry if your children are having too much fun to call," said Scott Davis.
