Saturday, people can learn more about the importance of the war to Greensboro and the city's namesake.
There's was birthday for Gen. Greene at the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park.
The party was free and open to the public. Visitors had a chance to meet the General, join in singing him happy birthday, and help him eat his birthday cake!
There was colonial games for children, the Carolina Colonial Dancers, reenactments at camps and music from the Guilford Fife and Drum Corps.
