GREENSBORO, N.C. -- NewBridge Bank is hosting its 16th annual cheerleading Jamboree.

It is a yearly event that kicks off the upcoming high school football season. Twenty four Triad high schools get together for a football scrimmage and cheerleading competition.

Tyson Hammer with NewBridge Bank says this is a great event that raises thousands of dollars for our local high schools. To date, the Jamboree has raised more than $750,000 for local high schools.

The Jamboree is this Friday at Rockingham County High School in Reidsville, West Davidson High School in Tyro, and Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem. They start at 6 p.m. and tickets are $5. Click here for more info.
