KERNERSVILLE, N.C. -- The battle against breast cancer is taking center stage in Kernersville this weekend.
Amy-Jo Fischer started the "Pink Ribbon Rally" to help other women going through the same cancer treatment.
Five years go, Amy Jo Fischer was diagnosed with breast cancer. The mother of three fought it, beat it, and decided to share her fight to empower other women in the community.

And this weekend, Kernersville Pink Ribbon Rally fundraiser is back for a fourth straight year.
You're invited to join the community on Saturday, August 23 for the Pink Ribbon Rally. The event is from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Kids Clubhouse, 745-G Cinema Court in Kernserville.
Tickets are $25 each.
Along with a silent and live auction, there will be heavy hors d'oeurves, wine and dancing.
