PHILADELPHIA - The body of a woman missing for more than a week was found Thursday inside a car that had been issued numerous tickets while it was parked near the city's main train station.

The body of 22-year-old Nadia Malik of suburban Philadelphia was found slumped in the front passenger seat of a Nissan Altima near the 30th Street Station.

"There is a book bag with stuff that is dumped out and placed on top of her," Lt. John Walker of the Philadelphia Police Department told CBS News Philadelphia.

Malik was reported missing in early February.

"Some people were calling 911 to report that the vehicle was parked illegally," Walker said. "It looks like about seven or eight parking tickets from the Parking Authority were issued."

The first ticket was written the day after Malik went missing. Police say that because there was snow on the car and it had tinted windows, it was hard to notice the body inside.

The cause of death had not been determined.

Malik's boyfriend, Bhupinder Singh, with whom she was seen prior to her disappearance, is in custody in Ohio awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania on probation violations.
