SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va.-- A pregnant mother of four children died Monday after being stung by a wasp while working in her backyard, her husband confirmed to CBS Affiliate WTVR.
Sarah Marie Schulzetenberg Harkins, 32, died at the hospital when an aneurysm in her brain burst, Harkins' husband told Fredericksburg.com. Her unborn baby, who was to be named Cecilia Rachel, also died.
The aneurysm burst due to the stress the stings and an allergic reaction brought on, the article stated.
A funeral mass was held for Harkins on Friday morning, August 1st at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. in Bel Air, Md.
