Country music star Brad Paisley was so moved by the actions of an American doctor infected with Ebola Virus, he released a preview of a new song on Twitter and YouTube.

Paisley is referring to Dr. Kent Brantly, one of two Americans who contracted the virus while helping Liberians who are also infected.

In a tweet posted Saturday, Paisley said "I'm moved by the Christian Dr. Fighting Ebola who gave the serum to his friend. So here's a bonus track. For him."

A tweet posted by Paisley prior to that read "Pray for Dr. Kent Brantly - of those brave souls who risks his life to save others."

Paisley is referring to recent news involving a single dose of an experimental serum given to Brantly. Brantly insisted the dose go to his colleague, Nancy Writebol, of Charlotte, also infected with Ebola.

Instead, Brantly received a blood transfusion from a 14-year-old Ebola survivor who was among those the doctor had treated.

Dr. Brantly is receiving treatment at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. He was transported there by a private jet Saturday morning.

Writebol will also be transferred from Liberia to Atlanta in the coming days.

Both patients are said to be in serious but stable condition. The two were working for Samaritan's Purse, based in Boone, when they were infected.
