GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. – The Guilford County Board of Elections (BOE) is reminding non-registered voters that new legislation has changed a registration policy to vote in May's primary election.
The deadline to register is Friday, April 11, by 5 p.m. The primary election is May 6.
If you haven't already registered, you'll need to know that same-day registration is no longer available at early voting. If you aren't registered, you can't vote.
You can drop off your registration form at either BOE office: 301 W. Market St. in Greensboro, or 325 E. Russell Ave. in High Point. Completed forms may be mailed to P.O. Box 3427, Greensboro, NC 27402. If you are mailing your registration, it must be postmarked by Friday.
A photo ID is not required in this election.
