Raleigh--N.C. State baseball captains Brett Austin, Carlos Rodon, and Trea Turner made All-ACC first team, and freshman third baseman Andrew Knizner made All-ACC third team, according to a release on Monday from the conference office.

The Wolfpack also secured three first team selections and four total mentions in 2012. Prior to 2012, the Pack's last year with three first-teamers came in 2005. Brett Austin captures his first career All-ACC honor.

Trea Turner and Carlos Rodon each make their third career All-ACC appearances. Clemson's Steve Wilkerson is the only other three-time honoree on the 2014 All-ACC teams. Turner made the first team in 2013, and the second team in 2012.

Rodon is the sixth three-time All-ACC first teamer in NC State history. The five previous three-time honorees were third baseman Chris Cammack (1969, 1970, 1971), designated hitter Chuckie Canady (1979, 1980, 1981), first baseman Turtle Zaun (1986, 1987, 1988), outfielder Brian Bark (1988, 1989, 1990), and outfielder Brian Wright (1999, 2000, 2001). Rodon is the first pitcher in NC State history to pull the feat.

Knizner starts his collegiate career with an All-ACC third team selection, becoming the first Wolfpack freshman to earn all-conference since Rodon's first-team bid in 2012.
