GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Masters is history, and Bubba Watson now has a second Green Jacket. Income tax returns are being filed today, and pollen fills the air. Golf season is officially underway in North Carolina, and Wyndham Championship tickets are now available for purchase, the tournament announced today. The 75th anniversary Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 11-17, 2014 at Sedgefield Country Club.
Ticket prices are the same as last year. A ticket for an individual day, Thursday through Sunday, is $30. A ticket good for any day of the tournament is $40, and a ticket for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday is $15 per day. A weekly tournament badge or book of tickets remains $100. New this year is the Legends Club, a hospitality venue located behind the 10th green with close access to both the 11th and 18th tee boxes. The Legends Club features open-air and air-conditioned seating; it is a "sports bar" venue offering upscale food and beverage for purchase Wednesday through Sunday. Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2014 and contested annually on the Donald Ross-designed course at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., the Wyndham Championship was founded in 1938 and is the sixth-oldest event on the PGA TOUR excluding the Majors.
