Tiger Woods, saying he might be a bit rusty but will play his way back into shape, announced on his Facebook page he will play in the Quicken Loans National next week.
Woods, who had back surgery 11 weeks ago, hasn't played since the World Golf Challenge-Cadillac Championship in March.
"After a lot of therapy I have recovered well and will be supporting my foundation next week," Woods said. "I've just started to hit full shots but it's time to take the next step. I will be a bit rusty but I want to play myself back into competitive shape. Excited for the challenge ahead."
The Quicken Loans National will be played at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.
