Charlotte enters the NBA Playoffs with a 43-39 record, the second-best single-season record in franchise history. The team finished the month of April with an 8-1 record, its third consecutive winning month. Charlotte won 14 of its last 16 home games at Time Warner Cable Arena, and won a franchise single-season record 18 road games. The Bobcats, who won 22 more games than last year, became the first team in NBA history to double its previous season's win total two seasons in a row.
Novant Health, Papa John's and Sprite are the presenting partners of the 2014 Bobcats Playoffs. All fans in attendance at Game 3 will receive a white Bobcats Playoffs T-shirt courtesy of Novant Health, Papa John's and Sprite. In addition to sponsoring the T-shirt giveaway, Novant Health, Papa John's and Sprite will all be involved with in-arena branding and activation elements, as well as Bobcats playoff advertising.
"Our Time" has been unveiled as the Bobcats' 2014 NBA Playoffs slogan and will be incorporated in all of the team's advertising. "Our Time" references how the organization has been building and developing in the background – working hard, slowly improving and winning games – and now is its time to step out of the shadows and into the bright lights of the NBA Playoffs. The "Our Time" moniker will be utilized in television, radio and website ads, digital billboards, center city light pole banners and Bobcats internal assets (in-arena, Bobcats.com, Time Warner Cable Arena signage). Attached is an example of an image from the "Our Time" campaign.
Bobcats Sports & Entertainment owns the Charlotte Bobcats and operates Charlotte's Time Warner Cable Arena.
