The Dayton Flyers will advance in the NCAA Championship after beating the Ohio State Buckeyes 60-59 in the second round of the tournament.
The man at the helm the Flyers' basketball team is 34-year-old head coach Ryan "Archie" Miller. Miller has led the Flyers to 37 wins in two seasons. He came from the University of Arizona in 2011 as an associate head coach under his brother, Sean.
But Miller is probably also a North Carolina State University Wolfpack fan. His connection to NCSU dates to 1998-2002, as he was a four-year letterwinner. According to Miller's bio on Dayton's website, he was a point guard.
He's third at NC State in career FT% (.846, 165-195), fourth in career threes (218) and sixth in career 3-pt. FG% (.429, 218-509). His junior numbers of .575 (59-102) from 3-pt. range are the second-best single-season mark in Wolfpack history.
