Weather Summary:

Lots of humidity here in the Piedmont this week, but that won't materialize into a ton of rain. Mainly just pop-up storms during the afternoons that we'll track on radar each day. The main story will be the heat returning to start the month of September.

For your Tuesday, expect patchy dense fog in the morning. This will be burning off by 9am or so. After that, temperatures start to rise quickly into the mid 80s by lunchtime, topping out close to 90 for the afternoon. An isolated storm or two is possible, but not likely.

Similar weather for Wednesday. Still, we'll be hot and humid. The chance for storms will be a bit better late in the day and into the evening hours.

Temperatures will trend slightly cooler for Labor Day weekend in the mid 80s for highs.

The normal high is 85, and the normal low is 66.
