Weather Summary:

An upper level low spinning in the upper part of the atmosphere currently over the southeastern United States is providing unsettled weather for the Piedmont and will continue for the next several days. As the upper level low just meanders over the southeast, it will continue to generate a southeast flow off the Atlantic, that will enhance rain chances for Tuesday -Thursday until a cold front approaches Thursday afternoon. Due to this type of set-up off and on rain chances will persist at any time and be very slow moving, which could cause isolated flash flooding.

We will warm back up to the mid to upper 80 on Wednesday, as a stationary/warm front begins to lift north to our area. A very slow moving cold front will approach the Piedmont on Thursday but by Friday, we will begin to see cloudy conditions give way to a more partly cloudy sky, and temperatures will drop a few degrees behind the front to the mid 80's for the weekend.

Our normal high is 88, and our normal low is 69.
