The major winter storm across the Triad that downed trees, and caused widespread power outages will exit tonight.
Steady rain will continue through early evening. Until it stops, more water will be added on a ground already laden with melting snow and sleet. This will lead to possible flooding across the area through nightfall. Thankfully, all snow and ice accumulation has ceased.
Rain will end by evening. Skies will clear out after toward morning. This will make for a sun-soaked Saturday as high pressure builds up and down the East Coast. Temperatures will soar into the 60's for highs throughout the weekend. This will be good weather for cleaning up debris across the area; which will take a while.
Quiet weather will last through mid-week with ample sunshine and highs in the mid and upper 60's. Our next weather-maker will arrive Wednesday with the chance for a few rain showers.
Our average high is 58, our average low is 37.
