A fast moving "clipper" system pushes through the Triad today and tonight. After that, we'll be looking at quiet, chilly weather for much of the week.
Our Alberta Clipper is bringing a few scattered showers through the evening. Cold air will start to rush in tonight, and that may allow for a brief flurry or two in spots. Absolutely no reason to worry about that. No impacts.
Cold air will settle in for tomorrow with temperatures starting in the upper 20s. Passing afternoon clouds and chilly breezes will keep high temperatures in the low 40s for Tuesday. Wednesday will feature more sunshine, but temperatures that stay cool in the low 40s.
Another fast-moving system will push through on Thursday. Much like our current system, this will bring very little moisture. Look for extra clouds and just a passing shower or two.
Cool air returns for Friday and Saturday. We have our eyes on a storm system for Sunday and Monday. It's too early to say exactly what we'll see in the Triad, but we're including a chance for showers right now.
The normal high is 49, and the normal low is 30.
