Weather Summary:

A stationary will remain along the Carolina coast through Monday before dissipating. High pressure will continue to control the weather over the rest of the area through Tuesday. This will bring hot and dry weather to the Piedmont Triad. A cold front will approach and move into the area Thursday and possibility linger over the Piedmont into Friday. If so, this would bring a little better chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Today and Monday will be mostly sunny and continued dry with a high this afternoon of 90, and 92 on Monday. Tonight will be clear with a low of 65. Dew points remain a bit lower than normal, so although it will be hot, it will be a bit little less humid for this time of year.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy with only a 20% chance of an isolated storm in the afternoon. Tuesday's high will be 93. Wednesday will be partly cloudy with a 30% chance of a shower or storm and a high of 92. We will see a partly sunny sky on Thursday and Friday with a 40% chance of showers and storms. The high Thursday will be 87, with a high of 87 on Friday. Morning lows will be near 70.

The normal high is 87, and the normal low is 69.
