GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A tornado touched down Tuesday afternoon in Stedman in Cumberland County.
WRAL, reveals no one was injured but there are homes and businesses that are damaged. The damage stems from fallen trees across homes and also roofs that are blown off as well. The tornado touched down in the area of Nunnery Road and Ken Hancock Street in Stedman. Emergency officials told WRAL, they received multiple reports of funnel clouds in the area around 4:00 p.m.
First responders are also dealing with flooding in Hope Mills. But that's not it also reports of widespread flooding in Wilson County where home yards are flooded and covered with golf-ball sized hail
