Eastbound Lane Closures For Business 40 in Winston-Salem Begin Now Through December

Eastbound Lane Closures Along Business 40

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Eastbound lane closures for Business 40 in Forsyth County began Halloween night and will last until mid-December.

NC Department of Transportation will implement an up and over traffic pattern at Peters Creek Parkway as work is being done.

Drivers heading east on Business 40 will be shifted into a single lane from 9 p.m. until midnight. From midnight until 6 a.m., contractors will close both lanes on eastbound Business 40 and all traffic will be directed to exit onto the Peters Creek Parkway ramp. Drivers will then cross Peters Creek Parkway back onto Business 40.

NCDOT says the traffic pattern will be in place every night started October 31, and will last until mid-December.
