Woman Who Died In High Point Wreck Identified

HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point police have identified the woman who died Saturday in a wreck.

Two cars collided in the intersection at South Main Street and College Drive. Guilford County EMS found Nancy Cole unresponsive and pronounced her dead at the scene.

Crews took three people - with a range of injuries - to High Point Regional Medical Center.

Gloria Fogle was driving a 1990 Toyota Camry, with Cole as her passenger. Police say Cole was trapped in the car.

Divie Martin was driving a 2007 Ford Ranger and was going northeast on South College Drive. He had a 15-year-old boy in the car with him.

Investigators say Martin was suffering from a medical condition at the time of the crash. He went though the intersection at a red light.

The District Attorney's office is charging Martin with a red light violation, but is not charging him for Cole's death.
