GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Most of this week will feature sunshine and dry conditions, but by late in the week, a cold front will bring us a chance of a few showers.
Monday, we'll see plenty of sun and warmer temperatures with highs across the area in the low to mid 60s.
The warming trend will continue into the middle of the week, with highs by Wednesday in the mid to upper 60s. A cold front will approach the area by Thursday night into Friday morning. Here's one forecast model of what radar MAY look like at that point.
Don't focus too much on the specifics of the coverage and intensity of rain shown here. This isn't a very high resolution model and it's 5 days out, so it's likely not going to be spot on. Bottom line is that we'll see the chance of at least a few showers, maybe more, Thursday night into the day on Friday. We'll keep you updated on the forecast through the week as more data becomes available. Cooler weather will move in behind the front with highs in the 50s in most neighborhoods next weekend.
Until then enjoy the sunny and warmer weather we'll see most of the week!
