EDEN, N.C. – Eden was hit yet again with another strong thunderstorm just one week after a tornado hit in the area.
The storm system that moved through brought hail and damaging winds and downed trees.
Tornado sirens were heard in several areas, including Mayodan and Wentworth but there was never a Tornado warning issued.

EMS told WFMY News 2, the sirens went off, because a funnel cloud was spotted. Sheriff Sam Page said no one was hurt.
Duke Energy reported around 12,000 people in Durham and Wake counties lost power late Thursday. Friday morning, about 3,000 customers were still without service.
