GREENSBORO, N.C. — Chris grew up in the town of Davidson, just north of Charlotte, and is so grateful to be back close to home after spending four years in Central New York. This is his first position after graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Broadcast Digital Journalism.

In school, Chris spent time working for the local NPR radio station WAER, campus television organizations like the ACC Network and the award-winning student television station, CitrusTV. There he covered sports and news events ranging from the major city I-81 re-development plans to SU’s men’s basketball’s run to the Final Four.

Chris joined WFMY News 2 in May 2019 in hopes to tell stories that touch hearts and drive change in the Triad. As a Digital MSJ, he can’t wait to connect with and meet the people who make Greensboro the wonderful place he knows and loves.

In his free time, Chris enjoys volunteering at his church, watching sports and serving at homeless shelters. He also wants you to know he grew up rooting for the BEST shade of blue in the Carolinas, and he expects Duke to win the college basketball National Championship every season from now until forever.
