Sydni Moore

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Sydni is an evening anchor at 4 and 11 p.m. and 2 Your Well Being reporter for WFMY News 2. 

She joined the team in June 2021 as a weekend Good Morning Show anchor and MSJ.

Born in Detroit and raised in Georgia, Sydni is excited to bring her storytelling and energy to the Triad.

Prior to working at WFMY News 2, she worked at WFXG FOX 54 in Augusta, GA as a fill-in anchor and multimedia journalist. There, she covered major events, including the Masters and conducted one-on-one interviews with U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff and Former Senator David Perdue during the 2020-21 Georgia Senate Election.

Sydni received her degree in communication with a concentration in broadcasting from Mississippi State University (HAIL STATE!).

In 2018, she interned at CNN/HLN in Atlanta, where she worked under the Morning Express with Robin Meade show and the Michaela show.

She is a co-author of a book called, "Anything I Wanna Be," which encourages young people to chase their dreams.

Sydni is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. When she is not anchoring and reporting, she loves to play golf, spend time with family and friends and visit new restaurants.
