Taheshah Moise is excited to be a part of the WFMY News 2 team as co-anchor of the 5 p.m. newscast and Verify reporter for the 11 p.m. newscast.

Taheshah traveled to the Triad by way of Texas, where she spent the last two and a half years as a morning anchor covering news in the Waco, Temple, Killeen area.

Some of the notable stories Taheshah has covered include the Twin Peaks Biker Gang Shooting and the Baylor University Title IX rape scandal.

Before Texas, Taheshah interned at WSET in Lynchburg, Va. From there she held two separate internships in Washington, D.C.--the first at the U.S. Department of State and the second with the PBS newsmagazine show "Religion and Ethics Newsweekly."

Never satisfied with remaining in one place, Taheshah caught the travel bug and decided to spend summer 2014 galivanting through Europe. Taheshah meandered over to Asia the summer of 2016 and hopes to eventually make it to each continent.

Art has Taheshah’s heart. So when Taheshah is not working you can find her at an art gallery or enjoying all the performing arts the Triad has to offer. And who knows maybe you will see her on stage. Taheshah has been involved with civic theaters in Texas and plans to keep that up!

Boston born and bred, Taheshah is glad to have all four seasons again as opposed to hot and less hot in Central Texas. If you see Taheshah around town feel free to say hello! You can email her at tmoise@wfmy.com or you can reach out on Twitter or Facebook.
