Fun Fourth Fireworks in Downtown Greensboro

After being canceled for weather on the Fourth of July, the Fun Fourth Festival fireworks show didn't disappoint the crowd.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- WFMY News 2's Chad Silber hosted the rescheduled Fun Fourth Festival Fireworks Saturday night in downtown Greensboro. The fireworks show was canceled on Independence Day when a storm moved through the area.

A nice size crowd attended the show which was held in the same location at the corner of Davie and Market Street.Chad warmed up the crowd and then introduced the first band.

Downtown Greensboro Inc. (DGI)'s Zack Matheny introduced the fireworks start. Things started lighting up the sky around 9:15ish.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers were able to have their fireworks show on July 4th after their game.
