As Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse returns to full-capacity for sporting events and concerts, a new set of safety protocols has been announced that requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for some events.

According to a press release, the health guidelines will not be the same for every event. The protocols will be determined by the tour promoted as well as management.

Attendees of those specific events will receive an email that outlines the process for the event. The first concerts that will require proof of vaccine or a negative COVID-19 test will be:

To efficiently check all the guests attending the gatherings that require protocols, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse is encouraging those to "understand the requirements, do some homework and plan to arrive early to the FieldHouse." Anyone ages 2 and over will not be permitted into the events that require the additional protocols unless they have valid proof of vaccination or evidence of a "timely" negative COVID-19 test.

To expedite the entry process, Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse has partnered with CLEAR Health Pass. On the mobile app, attendees can upload either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result. For those who choose not to use the CLEAR Health Pass app, verification will occur on the day of the event.

"Acceptable forms of verification include an original vaccination card (14 days past final vaccination shot) or a printed copy of an FDA approved negative COVID-19 Antigen or Molecular test result that is dated and time stamped, along with a photo ID," officials wrote in a press release.

Those attending events at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse are encouraged to regularly check the show event page to stay up to date on the most current health and safety requirements. In addition to the varying protocols for each event, the arena will comply with all state, city and county laws as well as encourage (but not require) fans to wear masks indoors.

As of now, these stricter guidelines do not seem to be in place for Cavaliers home games, the first of which is scheduled for Oct. 22. Here is a complete list of the health and safety protocols at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.
