SPOKANE, Wash. — A KREM 2 viewer sent in a very fitting photo Wednesday ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Debra Johnson captured a photo of a turkey peeping in the window of her home in Elk, Washington Wednesday afternoon. She said, “Tom stops by my window to see what’s cooking! Not him, that’s what!”

Johnson said the turkeys stop by her windows a lot because she puts out bird seed and apples for them and other animals on her 12 acres. She said they even peck on the windows if they see their reflection.

KREM 2 posted the photo on Facebook and Instagram asking viewers to caption the photo.

One viewer created a meme that said, “Excuse me do you have a moment to talk about or lord and savior mashed potatoes?”

Another wrote, “You did…WHAT!!! To my friend!!!!”

Someone else wrote, “If you eat my wife, just know this. I have a very particular set of talents.”
