OAK RIDGE, N.C. — When Kevin Champion opened his business 9 years ago he could've never envisioned what would happen to it. But as a self-proclaimed optimist he took this coronavirus situation and decided to make improvements to his concept. Staring the crisis in the face and knowing that his business will lose money, he spent it. All in the hope of delivering even better service to his customers when it is all over.
"We don't usually get the chance to make improvements like this so quickly since we usually have to work around the customers."
But as talk of a slow recovery starts to spread Kevin thinks his timing may work out and his concept of a lounge on one side and a family restaurant on the other will explode when they re-open. Simply put. He believes in The Stoke Ridge Tavern and Grill.
In the meantime he says they are open for take out and free delivery.
