BURLINGTON, N.C. -- A little girl from the Triad celebrated her fourth birthday by giving back to animals in need.
Instead of presents, Ella asked for donations of pet food, treats, and cat litter for the Burlington Animal Shelter.
Burlington Animal Services posted a photo on Facebook of Ella with all the donations she collected, and it looks like she had a great turnout!
"THANK YOU SO MUCH, Ella! We wish you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" the shelter wrote.
