NORTH PORT, FL -- Santa Claus will know exactly where to go when he arrives at the home of one Florida family this Christmas.
Inside their house is one room that’s truly a magical place fit for Santa himself.
Chris Hanks who’s a father of three boys decided to decorate a Christmas Room inside their home.
Hanks worked about four hours a day for about three days to create the magical room.
It’s filled with hanging icicle lights, three decorated Christmas trees, snow on the floor, light poles, an elf bench, hanging stockings and the works.
Hanks said, to be honest, he just didn’t feel like putting up the outside decorations this year. So, he asked his wife, if he could create the Christmas Room.
He said he wanted it to feel like when you’re out in the middle of the woods trying to find that perfect Christmas tree but suddenly realize you’re at the North Pole at Santa’s house.
That’s exactly what it feels like while watching the video of the magical room. You can’t help but get lost in the magic of it all.
Hanks said he loves Christmas and this time of year. He also said, he’s always the one to wake up early on Christmas morning and wake the kids up and not the other way around!
Hank posted a video of the Christmas Room on his Facebook page. It has gone viral with more than 84,000 shares. More than 13,000 likes and thousands of comments.
Hanks said he was really surprised by it all. He also said, he can’t wait to take down the Christmas decorations this year in the air-conditioning, after all it is Florida.
We hope the Hanks’ Family has a truly magical Christmas together this year.
