GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police Officers put on their boogie shoes on Saturday.

The officers danced with kids from the local Boys and Girls Club at the Fred Astaire Studio in Greensboro. Event organizers say it was a way to show unity in the community through dance.

Don't let the uniform fool you. The men and women in blue have some serious moves.

Greensboro City Council members were at the event as well. The city council recently declared the fourth Saturday of July as Greensboro Dance Day for the years to come.
