GREENSBORO, N.C. — The pandemic hit the airports quite possibly the hardest of any industry. And that effect can be exaggerated in the mid and smaller markets like here in the Triad.

After a few months we are now at about 35 to 40% of our usual revenue," said Baker, "When you suffer the economic disaster that the airline industry has suffered we in the smaller markets can take it very hard. We've lost a few destinations as a result but we are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel."
Baker went on to say that some airlines may not make it but as public confidence returns and more people feel confident to return to the skies we can pull through.
"It may take longer than we want but based on current trends we think we can pull through and maybe even come out better on the other side," said Baker.
