A regional jewelry chain is closing its Triad location, which has a distinctive storefront.

Fink's Jewelers has begun a liquidation sale at its store at 1951 Battleground Ave. in Greensboro.

Lindsey Sinozich, Fink's director of marketing, confirmed to Triad Business Journal that the Roanoke, Virginia-based chain planned to close the Greensboro store. Sinozich said the liquidation sale began on Oct. 3.

"In order to take advantage of opportunities in other rapidly growing markets, Fink’s Jewelers has made the difficult decision to close our Greensboro location," read a statement released by Sinozich.

Sinozich said no date had been set for the end of the sale.
