Norwegian Cruise Line to Host Second Round of Hiring for Work-From-Home Agents In NC

Those hired will be the first point of contact for guests and travel agents looking to customize their dream vacation on one of Norwegian's 16 ships.

HIGH POINT, N.C.(WFMY)-- Norwegian Cruise Line announced Monday the company is going to host a second round of hiring for work-from-home agents exclusively in the Piedmont Triad area. The new round of hiring will start on September 17.

The first round started on July 18 and according to Norwegian, it was a huge success. The company says in a news release, they received more than 1,500 applications.

In all Norwegian hopes to hire 200 full-time agents over the next year, to work-from-home in the Triad area. Those hired will be the first point of contact for guests and travel agents looking to customize their dream vacation on one of Norwegian's 16 ships.

“We are excited by the success of the initial phase of hiring by Norwegian Cruise Line and are thrilled that they plan to add another 60 employees to the Winston-Salem and Triad work force,” said Bob Leak, president of Winston-Salem Business, Inc.

This opportunity is exclusively open to residents of the North Carolina Piedmont Triad area, and is an entry level position that requires agents to understand and match the guests’ vacation plans to unforgettable Norwegian experiences, they state in a news release.

This is the first time Norwegian Cruise Line is expanding its at-home agent program outside of Florida and Arizona.
