A Cleveland County man is in jail, accused by authorities of sexually assaulting an eleven-year-old girl who got lost from her mother at a weekend tractor pull. The sheriff's department says Danny Ray Johnson of Lawndale is charged with two counts of first-degree statutory rape. Authorities say more charges are pending and they'll discuss them at a news conference today. Johnson is being held under $250,000 bond. Investigators say the girl became separated from her mother at the local tractor pull about midnight Saturday. Sheriff's Captain Bobby Steen says a man took the girl to a forest area where she was sexually assaulted. After the attack, the man fled. The child was discovered at 5 a-m Sunday in a wooded area less than a mile from the tractor pull site. She was taken to a hospital with superficial wounds, and was listed in good condition Sunday night.
