THE GREAT GATSBY NEW YEAR’S EVE BASH

What: Ring in the New Year at the Castle in Jamestown. The Great Gatsby themed New Year’s Eve bash includes a night full of music, dancing, and a New Year’s Eve countdown with Fireworks and a Champagne Toast at the stroke of midnight plus lots more!

When: December 31 from 8:30 p.m. – midnight

Where: The Castle at 3925 Kivett Drive in Jamestown

DENIM & DIAMONDS NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

What: Make it a dazzling night to ring in the New Year at the Denim & Diamond’s New Year’s Eve party in High Point. The event includes dinner, a champagne toast, and dancing the night away.

When: December 31 from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Where: Centennial Station Arts Center located at 121 South Centennial Street in High Point

VILLAGE INN NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

What: Dance the night away at the Village Inn’s New Year’s Eve Party! The night off fun features two great bands, three awesome DJs, Hors d’ oeuvres, party favors, and a champagne countdown!

FOOTHILLS BREWING NEW YEAR’S EVENT

What: Ring in the New Year with your favorite brew! Foothills will feature a buffet and special menu, DJ, dancing aerial artist performance, and a fortune teller, and a Champagne Toast and aerial “Belle Drop” to ring in the New Year!

When: December 31 from 6:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

O. HENRY HOTEL JAZZ NIGHT

What: The O. Henry Hotel will offer a Jazz Series performances on New Year’s Eve in the Social Lobby with the following performances: Jessica Mashburn, Dave Fox, Steve Haines & Thomas Heflin from 5:30 p.m.– 8:30 p.m.

The Mondre Moffett Jazz Society from 9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.

NEW YEAR WITH THE SYMPHONY

What: Make it a night to remember with the Winston-Salem Symphony. Guest conductor, Sarah Hicks will host an evening of traditional Viennese waltzes, upbeat standards, and other on-stage festivities!

When: December 31 from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Where: Winston-Salem Symphony located at 201 North Broad Street in Winston-Salem.

DUKES OF DIXIELAND NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY

What: Bourbon Street heads to Greensboro this New Year’s Eve bringing the hottest New Orleans jazz group out there with the Dukes of Dixieland! The group is a range of ragtime, blues, and American anthems.

When: December 31 at 8:00 p.m.

Where: Westover Church located at 505 Muirs Chapel Road in Greensboro

POP UP DANCE PARTY

What: Get your groove on at the Pop-up Dance Club at Print Works Bistro.

When: December 31 10:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

ROCKIN’ NOON YEAR’S EVE!

What: Get ready to rock at the Greensboro Children’s Museum annual countdown to noon! Get your groove on in the Dance Zone with Dance Project, Inc. and be a karaoke star in the Theatre. Toast with apple juice as the confetti drops at noon.

When: December 31 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Where: Greensboro Children’s Museum at 220 North Church Street in Greensboro

COUNTDOWN TO NOON!

What: The kids will have a blast counting down to the Noon year at the Kaleideum in Winston-Salem. The event includes making an egg shaker, a festive 2019 headband, fun songs, silly activities, storytime, and a dance party with a disco ball!

When: December 31 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon

Where: Kaleideum Downtown at 390 South Liberty Street in Winston-Salem

SHERIFF BADGE RAISING!

What: What better way to ring in the New Year than in Mayberry or Mount Airy! This is truly a unique way to ring in the New Year! Mount Airy raises Sheriff Badge at midnight to celebrate the New Year. There’s also a New Year’s party at the Museum which includes corn hole, ring toss, face painting, ghost stories, checkers, glass etching, pj contests, trivia, prizes and more! There’s also a champagne toast at midnight. There is a fee for the party.

PICKLE DROP

What: If you love pickles, then you will love to ring in the New Year with the Pickle Drop! A 3 foot Pickle is lowered at the stroke of 7pm “midnight” at Greenwich Mean Time at Mt. Olive Pickles!

When: December 31 at 7:00 p.m.

Where: Mt. Olive at Cucumber and Vine Streets in Mount Olive, North Carolina.

ACORN DROP

What: The New Year’s Eve celebration is a huge party in Raleigh! That’s when the city will drop a huge acorn at the stroke of midnight!
