National Night Out List | Where To Connect With Your Neighbors and Officers

National Night Out where you can go to enjoy some fellowship with those in your community on Tuesday, Aug. 7.

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WFMY) -- National Night Out provides a way for neighborhoods to get out and enjoy themselves with local law enforcement in a fun, safe environment in communities throughout the country.

This summer's National Night Out is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 7.

KERNERSVILLE

Police say about eight neighborhoods and apartment complexes in Kernersville are participating this year. Kernersville police and the Kernersville fire department will attend the events.

JAMESTOWN

Jamestown will be celebrating National Night Out from 6 to 10 p.m. at Wrenn Miller Park. The event will feature a 'Shred Truck' to shred confidential documents for free. Officers from the Guilford County Sheriff’s Department, NC Highway Patrol and Pinecroft-Sedgefield Fire Department will be there, as will Debbie the Pink Fire Truck.

ARCHDALE

'Rock the Block' at Bonnie Place from 5 to 8 p.m. will have live music from Seven Roads bands, bounce houses, food, games, popcorn, snow cones, an armored truck, fire trucks, police cars and more.

HAW RIVER

Haw River's National Night Out will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Red Slide Park. The Haw River Police Department will sponsor live music by Love & Valor. There will also be corn hole, a bounce house, snow cones, hot dogs and more.

LEXINGTON

The Lexington Police Department is proudly hosting National Night Out in uptown Lexington. The event will be one block east of Main Street between East 2nd Avenue and East 3rd Avenue. There'll be crime and safety awareness booths, rides and free hot dogs and drinks.

THOMASVILLE

On East Main Street from the clocktower to Memorial Park Drive from 6 to 8 p.m. - Will have bounce houses, hot dogs, drinks, classic cars, and a meet and greet with police officers.

WILKESBORO

Wilkesboro's National Night Out will be celebrated Wednesday, August 8 at Carolina West Community Commons at the corner of Bridge and Main Streets from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a dunking booth, Kids' ID kits, a food truck, Carolina Shaved Ice truck, games, live DJ, giveaway prizes, a fire truck and donut-eating contest. It'll be hosted by the Wilkesboro Police and Wilkesboro Fire Departments.
