DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. -- The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an animal cruelty case after deputies discovered two animals dead inside a house.
Deputies also seized three other animals because of inhumane conditions inside the house on West Center Street Extension.
Investigators said charges have been obtained for four people. Three have been arrested at this time.
Terry Ray Potts Sr., Chrystal Potts, and Christopher Potts have been charged with two counts each of Kill Animal by Starvation, and three counts each of Cruelty to Animals.
Terry Ray Potts, Jr. has not been arrested.
