Burlington Police Find Body in Wooded Area

Satellite images show the man's body was found in a residential area in a cluster of trees behind houses.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington Police are trying to identify a body found in a wooded area.

Police say they got a call from the 300 block of Union Avenue just after 8 Saturday night. According to satellite images, the man's body was found in a residential area in a cluster of trees behind houses. 

Investigators say the man is about 60 years old with black and grey hair and a grey beard. He was wearing a green and blue plaid shirt with blue jogging pants. 

Burlington Police are still investigating his cause of death.
