INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Real brothers stand by each other no matter what happens in life. That’s true for an 85-year-old man who came to the rescue of his brother during a robbery.
The crime was captured on surveillance at an auto body shop in Indiana. The thief tried to rob the man’s younger brother who’s 80 and was walking with a cane.
The man said, the robber stated, ‘Give me your money. This is a stickup. This is real life.’
The brother said, “Man, I ain’t got no money. I just got out of the hospital.”
The video shows the robber as he reached into the man’s pockets to steal his money, that's when the victim’s older brother came to his defense.
“I started hollering and then my brother heard me hollering and then he came and he hit him up across the head,” said the man.
That’s when the brother grabbed a wrench out of his car and hit the thief who dropped three dollars he had stolen,
“He hit him on the head with that wrench. He went down,” said the brother. “That wrench made him give up everything.”
