Girl Scout ‘Cookie Manager’ Accused Of Stealing $7K From Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks To Piedmont

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A woman has been charged with stealing more than $7,000 from the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont.

Winston-Salem Police arrested Debbie Jo Davison who they said was the Cookie Manager for Troop #2819. Police said on August 30, they received a report of fraud from the Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont. Investigators said Davison stole money from the cookie sales and used it for herself.

Davison has been charged with one count of Obtaining Property by False Pretense. She was given a $10,000 unsecured bond.
