High Point Police Seize Guns, Cocaine, Meth, Heroin, Ecstasy, and Pot After Traffic Stop

3 people were arrested as a result of the traffic stop that led to search warrants executed at other locations in High Point.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — On Thursday, a High Point Police Department K-9 Officer made a traffic stop at Brentwood St and Green Dr. that resulted in a seizure of weapons, drugs and money.

The Driver of the car was identified as Darrod L Bennett, 27. Police say Bennett is also the focus of a lengthy investigation which is currently being conducted by the Vice/Narcotics Unit. 

Officers also executed search warrants at other locations associated with Bennett. The locations were at Hay St and 900 block of Londonderry Dr in High Point, police confirmed.

Numerous rounds of ammunition

$7,257.00 in cash 

49.5 pounds of Marijuana 

425.59 grams of Cocaine 

499.7 grams of Methamphetamine 

52 Dosage Units MDMA (commonly known as Ecstasy) 

.65 gram of Heroin 

1217 grams of an unknown substance (lab testing will determine the substance)

He was confined to the Guilford County Jail (High Point) under a $5,000,000.00 secured bond.

She was confined to the Guilford County (High Point) jail under a $75,000.00 secured bond
