HIGH POINT, N.C. — On Thursday, a High Point Police Department K-9 Officer made a traffic stop at Brentwood St and Green Dr. that resulted in a seizure of weapons, drugs and money.
The Driver of the car was identified as Darrod L Bennett, 27. Police say Bennett is also the focus of a lengthy investigation which is currently being conducted by the Vice/Narcotics Unit.
Officers also executed search warrants at other locations associated with Bennett. The locations were at Hay St and 900 block of Londonderry Dr in High Point, police confirmed.
Numerous rounds of ammunition

49.5 pounds of Marijuana
425.59 grams of Cocaine
499.7 grams of Methamphetamine
52 Dosage Units MDMA (commonly known as Ecstasy)
.65 gram of Heroin
1217 grams of an unknown substance (lab testing will determine the substance)
Darrod L Bennett, 27, of High Point was charged with:
Trafficking in Marijuana
Trafficking in Methamphetamine
Trafficking in Cocaine
Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the sale of a Controlled Substance
He was confined to the Guilford County Jail (High Point) under a $5,000,000.00 secured bond.
Lenee D Hutchison, 25, of High Point was charged with:
Trafficking Marijuana
Trafficking Methamphetamine
Possession With the Intent to Sell and Deliver Cocaine
Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for the Sale of a Controlled Substance
She was confined to the Guilford County (High Point) jail under a $75,000.00 secured bond
Derek S Price, 27, of High Point was charged with:
Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Possession With the Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana
He was confined to the Guilford County (High Point) jail under a $100,000.00 secured bond.
