LEXINGTON, North Carolina — Lexington Police say a man armed with a screwdriver robbed a convenience store Tuesday night.
Police were called to The Pit Stop on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd shortly before 8 p.m.
The clerk told officers that a suspect wearing a red hoodie, red bandana, and dark pants came into the store armed with a screw driver and demanded money.
According to police report, the suspect left on foot behind the store with the cash register full of money.
