BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police say a suspect is behind bars after robbing a man at gunpoint and trying to rob a woman the next day in Burlington.
According to the Burlington Police Department, Camari Mclean,20, robbed a man at gunpoint Tuesday at an electric car charging station at 1080 Piper Lane.
No one was hurt during the incident and Mclean left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The very next day, Mclean attempted to rob a woman at gunpoint in the 900 block of Turrentine Street but was unsuccessful.
On March 15, probable cause was developed to seek warrants on Mclean.
He is being charged with the following.
One (1) count of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
One (1) count of Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon
Two (2) counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
One (1) count of Discharging a Firearm inside the City Limits
