MCLEANSVILLE, N.C. — Authorities identified the victim of a homicide near the Greensboro Islamic Cemetery in McLeansville as a juvenile.
The Guilford County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a 911 call early Monday morning about a "man down." When they arrived at the location on Harvest Road, they found a young man, dead, who'd been shot multiple times.
Deputies said they do not believe the crime happened at the Greensboro Islamic Center, where the victim was found.
Investigators said the incident appears isolated and is not being investigated as a hate crime.
No arrest has been made.
