Missing Whitsett man’s vehicle found in Belmont, NC

Jamar Shariff Jenkins reported missing

WHITSETT, N.C. — Gibsonville police are searching for a missing man.

Investigators said Jamar Shariff Jenkins, 35, was reported missing from his home on Aug. 7. He was last seen leaving his home on Cape Fear Way in Whitsett in a 2010 Honda Accord. Police said his vehicle was found in Belmont, North Carolina but Jenkins is still missing.

Jenkins’ family is urging anyone with information to contact law enforcement immediately.
