Two Wanted After Shrooms Left at Dollar General

Deputies looking for a man and woman who left narcotics at a Dollar General in Trinity and returned more than once trying to get the hallucinogens back.

TRINITY, N.C. — Two people are facing felony drug charges in Randolph County after one of them left Psilocybin in a Trinity Dollar General. Psilocybin is a hallucinogen commonly known as mushrooms or shrooms.

The sheriff's office said the man and woman returned to the business twice to try and get the drugs back. During one return one even offered to buy the mushrooms back from employees, the sheriff's report says. 

Employees at the Dollar General turned over the drugs to Randolph County Sheriff's Vice Narcotics Unit. During their investigations they identified the men as Timothy Baumgartner and Kaitlynn Hensley.

Both are facing numerous drug charges. The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers: 336-672-7463.
