GREENSBORO, N.C. — A downtown Greensboro restaurant is feeding any government employees out of work from the government shutdown this week.

1618 Downtown is serving free dinner to Triad workers impacted by the shutdown. A Facebook post from the restaurant says "we'd be honored to have you for dinner and say thank you during this hard time."

Just bring your government ID for a free dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The offer does not include alcohol.
