18-Year-Old Shot During Home Invasion, While 4 Children Were Inside: Thomasville Police

Police say the 18-year-old arrived home to find three men inside. The suspects demanded money from him, dragged him outside, and shot him twice.

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Thomasville police say an 18-year-old was shot after arriving home to find three intruders in his house. 

It happened at a home on Jordan Street shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday. 

Police say two adults and four children were inside the home when three masked men with guns forced their way in.

The young man who lives there arrived home while the suspects were inside. Police say the suspects demanded money from him, forced him outside, and shot him twice - once in the leg and once in the back. The suspects then ran away from the house. 

Police say the 18-year-old victim is currently recovering at Wake Forest Baptist.
