HIGH POINT, N.C. — The cold and dreary weather didn't stop parade participants from being apart of the 18th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in High Point Saturday!

School bands, business, and other local organizations took part in the annual parade in King's honor. 

The parade began at the intersection of Green Drive/Meredith Street and is expected to come to an end at the Mendenhall Transportation Terminal on Hamilton and Commerce Street around 4 p.m. 

This is just one of the serval parades and events taking place in honor of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 

MLK Day 2019 is officially January 21, 2019.
